The “Albright Scholarship Fund” (ASF) is established for the purpose of: supporting the education of students from Kosova by providing them with the means to advance their education in relevant fields of study in Western countries; benefiting gifted students who are able to succeed within the framework of equal opportunity and free enterprise offered in Europe and North America; Providing partial scholarship support to students in relevant fields of study who have already been accepted for university-level study abroad and received partial scholarship support from university and/or outside sources; furthering Kosova’s development as a democratic European society, by requiring recipients of the scholarships to work for the Kosova government for one year for each year of study supported (or on a proportional basis as determined in a fair, equitable, and transparent manner). In this way, students will repay the people of Kosova for the scholarship by contributing their knowledge and experience gained abroad to the development and improvement of Kosova institutions.
