With increased globalization and international opportunities for research, the process of identifying potential sources of funding can be a time consuming exercise. The Funding Guide for International Science and Technology Cooperation guide aims to serve as a resource for Canadian researchers and scientists. The mission of the guide is to encourage, facilitate, and promote basic and applied research.

This guide was first established by the National Research Council of Canada to help its researchers take advantage of other sources of funding and is available to all Canadian researchers. This site also permits foreign researchers to find out potential partnering opportunities with their Canadian counterparts.

The Guide is divided into three sections:
