Call for Applications (GSGP 2009 – 2010)

The Open Society Institute's Network Scholarship Programs (NSP) is pleased to announce the Global Supplementary Grant Program (GSGP) for the 2009 – 2010 academic year.  GSGP offers supplementary grants to students who are citizens of the following countries:  Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia, Croatia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosova, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan to pursue doctoral studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences at accredited universities in Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle/Near East, and North America.

The fist ETS English Language Testing Center in Kosova was opened in 2001 by Kosova Academic Services Foundation.  From 2001 until end of 2007 KAS administered TOEFL, SAT, GRE, GMAT to thousands of Kosova students and students coming from Albanian, Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Turkey and to many international staff that were part of UNMIK.

Every year, ETS publishes data about its test forms, who took the test, where, how well did the candidates perform, etc., they also publish score results by country and native language. The data has been collected accurately, but of course they completely depend on the honesty of their customers.
